Application scope: in inorganic industry, it is used in the production copper(I) chloride, cupric chloride, anhydrous, copper pyrophosphate, copper(I) oxide, cupric acetate,anhydrous, copper carbonate, etc. In dyeing and pigment industries, it can be used in the production of monoazo dye containing copper such as reactive brilliant blue, reactive violet, etc. In organic industry, it can be used as catalyst of synthetic perfume and dye intermediate, as polymerization inhibitor of methyl methacrylate. In coating industry, it is used as fungicide for the production of antifouling paint. In electroplating industry, it is used as copper ion additive. In dyeing and printing industry, it is used as pro-oxygenic agent of mordant and as fungicide in agriculture.
Health hazard: This product is strongly irritating to gastrointestinal tract, will cause nausea, vomit in case of mis-eating. May cause kidney damage and hemolysis, jaundice, anemia, hepatomegaly, hemoglobinuria, ARF. Irritating to eyes and skin, long-term contact may have contact dermatitis and gastro-intestinal symptoms.
Skin contact: Take off the clothing, rinse with plenty of clean water.
Eye contact: Rinse with clean flow water or physiological saline solution, seek medical advice.
Inhalation: From the scene to fresh air, If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical advice.
Ingestion: In case of mis-eating, gastric lavage with 0.1% potassium hexacyanoferrate or sodium thiosulfate, drink milk or egg white, seek for medical advice.
Precautions during operation: The operator should be trained and follow the operation provision. The operator should wear self-inhalation filter type dust respirator, chemical safety protective glasses, rubber gloves. Can not contact with acids and alkalis. Handle with care and protect the packing and container from damage.
Precautions during storage:Keep in dry, cool and ventilated warehouse. Away from fire and heat resource. The container should be tightly sealed. Separate with acids, alkalis, edible chemical products.
